Vegan Cauliflower Wings

Updated: May 17, 2022

I have been obsessed with cauliflower wings that I had put together. The recipe below is the proportions I use to create the cauliflower wings.

Prep Time: 5 min Cook Time: 15-20 min (Bake at 350F)

Ingredients:

- Cauliflower ( I used half)

- 2-3 Tbsp Olive Oil

- 1/2 Tbsp Garlic Powder

- 2 Tbsp Coconut Milk (The kind of milk I used)

- 3-4 Tbsp of Frank's Buffalo Sauce (or your preferred hot sauce)

- 1/2 cup of Breadcrumbs

- 1/4 cup of Flour

Instructions:

1) Preheat the oven to 350F.

2) Wash and cut the Cauliflower Florets. (I cut them into 1 inch pieces)

3) Place the cauliflower florets into a sandwich bag and add the ingredients listed above. You may want to change some proportions of ingredients as desired.

4) Rub the ingredients in the sandwich bag with your hands and play around with it. You are going to want to evenly coat the mixtures onto your cauliflower florets inside of the sandwich bag.

5) Use a tray and place a baking sheet inside. Take your cauliflower florets out of the sandwich bag and evenly distribute them onto the tray.

6) If you feel that you had not added enough ingredients as wanted, now is the time to do so. I ended up adding a bit more of breadcrumbs after placing the cauliflower florets onto the tray. I wanted to create an extra crunch to my cauliflower wings. and it worked out perfect for me!

7) Place the tray into the oven at 350F for 10-15 minutes. Check up on the cauliflower wings after 15 minutes and see if you like how its been cooked so far. I found that keeping the cauliflower wings in the oven for 10 minutes gave me more of a crunch to my cauliflower wings however, when I left them in the oven for about 20 minutes, it softened the cauliflower wings and it tasted pretty good!

8) Take your cauliflower wings out of the oven and place them onto a plate. I sprinkled the cauliflower wings with green onions and it tasted pretty great!

*** If you happen to live in Canada, Bulk Barn has the best Garam Masala, so I would recommend using it if you can! I personally find that the more pungent the Garam Masala, the better it tastes!

I hope you guys try the cauliflower wings out. This was an easy recipe to had cooked/made. You can always change the proportions of the ingredients that I had used to your liking. Send me a picture on Instagram if you guys do happen to try this out because I would love to hear from you!
