| January 2019 Update  |

Updated: May 17, 2022

My first month on a vegan diet has been complete! It was definitely a lot easier for me to start a vegan diet than I thought it was. I always ate meat meat because I found that eggs were in most foods that I ate  prior to 2019. If I have any regret of my vegan diet, I can honestly say it is to have become a vegan earlier on in my life. I decided to become a vegan to help with my egg allergy, but mainly because of my Multiple Sclerosis and the things it was doing to my body. As days progressed during my first month of being a vegan, I started to notice gradual improvements with myself. For instance, this month I have been able to walk for longer periods of time without having my body give up on me any sooner. The month of January 2019, has enabled me to be able to walk for about 30 minutes. With that being said, this has been a drastic change for me since 2017, where I had only been able to walk for less than 5 minutes.
I am very happy with what my body has learned to adapt to so far and I hope my vision improves this year! I am aware that there is no cure for Multiple Sclerosis, but the one thing I keep coming across is, what if diet is the cure?
